Puppy Groom

Puppy Groom – from £25*

It’s very important that you introduce your puppy to brushing and grooming from a very young age.  Your puppy will spend an hour with me in the groom room, giving us a chance to get to know each other and allow them to get used to the grooming environment and equipment.

They will be introduced to bathing, hair dryers, scissors, brushes and nail clippers.

This dedicated puppy groom is suitable for puppies under 9 months.

Our puppy groom is full of fun and play and cuddles, starting the grooming experience on a really positive note from day one!

Before Your Appointment

When booking your dog in with us we will assume the following:

  • The dog is healthy
  • The dog is fully vaccinated
  • The coat is well brushed and in knot-free condition (there may be an extra charge for matting)
  • No fleas or ticks are present
  • The dog is amenable to being groomed
  • The dog is to be groomed in a traditional or simple pet style choice
  • The dog will be toileted prior to the grooming appointment
  • The dog will be dropped off on time and collected promptly when agreed (there may be a late pick up charge)

If any of these assumptions are incorrect, please let us know prior to arriving for your appointment.

 When your dog is groomed on a regular basis then your grooming times on average take 2 hours for small to medium dogs, 3-4 hours for large dogs.

Additional Services

Deshedding – From £10 (add on to wash & go groom)

This treatment is great for Double Coated breeds or any dog that sheds a lot of hair.  

We use a de-shedding treatment which removes the loose coat and also helps to reduce shedding between grooms, by softening the coat and hair follicles.

The process is finished with a thorough drying of the coat and the use of special products to brush-out and de-matt the coat, leaving your pooch looking healthy and feeling great.

Spa Facial – £4 (add on to groom)

We use a wheat-free, tear-free face scrub and pH balanced treatment that safely removes dirt and discolorations from the face and ears. It is the new natural solution to helping to remove stubborn tear stains too.

It is scented with Lemongrass, Orange & Rose Essential Oils for a sweet-smelling face and healthy glossy coat

Nail & Pad Trim – £10

One of the most important things that we can do for our dog’s posture, is to keep their nails at a healthy length.  If your pooch’s nails are looking a bit long, book a quick appointment and we can help get them to the right length in a safe and stress-free environment.  We will also give the rest of the foot area a quick tidy and trim, to create the perfectly comfortable paws.

Extra Charges

Matting
If your dog comes in for its appointment and is matted it shall be assessed to see our options. If we feel the matts can be removed (we always ensure we take the most humane option for the dog!) then there is a £7 charge per 15 minutes of dematting.

If we feel the dog is too matted for removed and we need to clip the dog close to the skin we charge £10 for the cost of the clipper blades being sent for sharpening.

Fleas
We are unfortunately unable to accept dogs who have fleas. If a dog is dropped off and fleas are later identified there is a £30 charge to cover the cost of insecticidal shampoo and fumigating the salon.

Late Pick-up
If you are more than 10 minutes late to pick up your pet at the agreed time then we will be required to charge £15 per 30 minutes.
